Ok, now this freaks me out.
Can someone tell me how space is not secure territory? We are the only ones really hangin' out up there all of the time...so I'm taking this to mean we need to protect the country from ourselves...? Am I off base here? We've already got enough satellites and crap polluting space to know what the Russians and Chinese do up there (which is nothing much), so I find it disturbing that we need to have missle launchers hovering above us.
Maybe my crazy conspiracy theorist friend is right...we're gonna nuke one of our own cities...
